NEASC
School of the Nations is internationally accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), one of the most prestigious accrediting organizations in the world, recognized globally as a standard of excellence.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
School of the Nations is an authorized IB World School for the Diploma Programme (DP) and is an official Candidate School* for the Primary Years Programme (PYP).
We offer a program from Early Childhood Education through High School. The child must be at least two years of age by August 1 to enroll.

Early Childhood Education (Nursery to Grade 1): 8:10 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.

Elementary School (Grades 2 to 5): 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Middle and High School (Grades 6-12): 7:45 a.m. to 3:10 p.m.
School of the Nations offers an After School Program. Aiming to enrich the regular curriculum, our After School program offers students the opportunity to explore skills in areas of interest to them. Find out more about our After School Program here.

We follow the international school calendar. The school year begins at the end of July or in the beginning of August, and ends around June.

In Brazil, the School is Accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Federal District and meets all Brazilian legal requirements.

School of the Nations is an authorized IB World School for the Diploma Programme (DP) and is an official Candidate School* for the Primary Years Programme (PYP). These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education that the School of the Nations believes is important for our students. In October 2024, we will undertake a crucial phase in our pursuit of full authorization for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) as we prepare for the PYP Verification Visit.
*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP).
