New course in our After School Program prepares students for the technological world with Edubot partnership
School of the Nations is excited to introduce its latest addition to the After School Program—a Robotics course designed to equip students from Elementary to Middle School with critical 21st-century skills. Partnering with Edubot, a company known for its innovative pedagogical approach, the course promises to engage students in hands-on activities that foster critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration.
Meet the Robotics Course
Starting on September 13, the Robotics course will guide students through the exciting process of designing, building, and programming robots and other projects. This immersive experience not only provides a strong foundation in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) but also helps students develop problem-solving skills and resilience—abilities that are increasingly vital in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.
Enrollment for the Robotics course opens on Monday, August 26, at 6:00 p.m. through the After School enrollment portal. Students will have the unique opportunity to think differently, prepare for the future, and learn while having fun as they bring their imagination to life.
About Edubot
Edubot’s educational approach is rooted in the creative learning spiral and active methodologies. Their curriculum encompasses five multidisciplinary modules aligned with the competencies and skills outlined in the Brazilian Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC). The program is designed to encourage students to imagine new possibilities, innovate in their learning processes, and adapt to challenges through reflection and creative problem-solving.
Training of Nations Staff
Last week, 11 of our staff members, including 9 teachers, participated in a training session provided by the Edubot team. The participants learned the techniques and methodologies that will be used in the course, as well as familiarize themselves with all the materials for the practical activities and future projects the students will undertake. Among the materials provided by Edubot, Nations also acquired a 3D printer and a laser cutter to assist in the assembly of the projects.
Don’t miss this chance to enroll in this innovative course!
